http://www.enterasys.com/company/press-release-item.aspx?id=1053

"Enterasys Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications Company, and PCM, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCMI), a leading technology solutions provider, today announced a joint cloud-based wireless offering called PCM Cloud Wireless Service. The cloud based Wi-Fi solution is designed with Enterasys’ high performance IdentiFi Wi-Fi access points (APs) and OneFabric management system.

With this joint offering, Enterasys and PCM raise the bar in the cloud-managed segment of the Wireless LAN (WLAN) market. For a low monthly cost, PCM Cloud Wireless Service includes AP hardware, software capabilities, implementation and day-to-day management. The companies believe that the offering provides customers with financial flexibility, allowing customers to meet budget needs, with optional hardware refreshes at contract renewal alleviating unplanned capital outlay in the future. "Sync Files Between All Your Digital Devices

The average home today has multiple computers and mobile devices. Syncing content across all these devices is a huge hassle. The “all or nothing” cloud sync services don’t work well with limited capacity laptops and mobile devices, not to mention the monthly fees you have to pay to store more than a few photos or documents.

With Transporter, you can have all your files in one place and easily sync the ones you want on each device. No more running out of space on your phone. No need to constantly shuffle files around to avoid paying additional fees. Transporter makes these issues a thing of the past."

PCM AAA Updates - autoCAD, Adobe, Apple

A couple of quick updates.

AutoCAD – PCM is now fully authorized to sell and support all versions of autoCAD.

Adobe – Adobe has changed the upgrade process for Creative Suite (CS) licenses.  They have eliminated upgrades, leaving two paths to the latest and greatest: purchasing the latest perpetual license; or moving to the Creative Cloud (http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/teams.html).  I will send an invite to the Creative Cloud in case you wish to take advantage.

Apple –  If you plan on deploying iPads, we can provide the units, create custom apps, image the units, add mobile device management, and help secure the units.
